East Side Access Plan Moving Forward (NY1 News)

The MTA's plan to bring Long Island Rail Road customers to the East Side of Manhattan is moving forward. After eight months of work, a 200-ton drilling machine has made the mile-long trip down the Upper East Side, from 63rd Street to Grand Central Terminal.
